Florida based Metal vocalist extraordinaire
Rob Rock continues to impress as he delivers his latest offering of
genius titled Garden Of Chaos. This release marks Rob’s fourth post Impellitteri
solo achievement, furthering his winning streak of successful musical ventures.
Much akin to his previous effort 2005’s Holy Hell Rob has maintained the
heavier styled guitar attack prompting some serious no holds barred riffing and
effectively locking into place one of this year’s more accomplished recordings.
Produced once again by famed
producer Roy Z (Judas Priest, Bruce Dickinson) Garden Of Chaos is a decisively pristine recording.
Rob utterly soars with his vocal duties and effectively drives home his
spiritually tinged lyrics with conviction and passion that is unmarred by most
in the business. Guest appearances this time around include guitarist Gus G (Firewind)
on “Ride The Wind” and drummer Bobby Jarzombek (Iced Earth) on “Ride The
Wind” and “This Time Is The Last Time”.
I’ve been a huge fan of Rob’s going
all the way back to the M.A.R.S. Project Driver days and he continues to
excel with each and every new release. Song favorites include “Savior’s Call”,
“Unconditional”, “Satan’s Playground” and “Metal Breed”.
