Echoes Of Eternity - Feel The Burn

Echoes of Eternity

With the popularity of female fronted Metal bands on the rise mostly from the European countries, it’s not surprising that the U.S. scene would catch on within a relatively short time. Enter L.A. based Echoes of Eternity. While not an all American band per se (vocalist Francine Boucher is Canadian born) they are nevertheless U.S. based and as close to authentic as we have come so far (Evanescence doesn’t count nor compare for that matter).

The band are currently promoting their sophomore release out on Nuclear Blast Records and are poised to usher in a new chapter for this promising art via a very solid performance that boasts a sure fire helping of traditional U.S. thrash rather than the symphonic opera like bands ala Nightwish or Epica.

I recently had the divine pleasure of speaking with the voice of EOE, Ms. Francine Boucher about the bands new release, As Shadows Burn paying their dues and their seemingly overnight success. In addition she addresses the purist factions that although are few and far between these days, still rear their ugly heads from time to time. Also, their lyrical approach to the music, close mindedness and current tour plans.
