Mnemic - The System That Works!
Interview By: David Priest © 2010 On Track Magazine.com Progressive/industrial Metaller’s Mnemic have returned with a dynamic new album
entitled Sons Of The System. Since their debut
on the scene in 1998 these Danes have managed to gain remarkable strides in
brining their particular blend of Metal dubbed “Future Fusion Metal” to the
masses, even being pegged as one of Metallica’s favorite bands in
existence today. Sons Of The System represents
the bands second offering with French vocalist Guillaume Bideau
whom I recently had the distinct pleasure of conversing with in regard to the
bands latest masterpiece. Among other things we also chatted about the
conditions that led to them tapping producer extraordinaire Tue Madsen who
handled the mixing duties on the band’s last CD and the problems that arose
from working with Fear Factory’s Christian Olde
Wolbers and the subsequent fallout that the Passenger
album had with fans. Tour plans, preferred geological locations and the
attitude of the French all come into play here, check out the conversation
below. |
