To say that the Metal world is in a state of shock today is a tremendous understatement. We have lost the greatest Metal vocalist in the history of the genre, Mr. Ronnie James Dio. I personally have struggled with keeping focus and doing my duties for the magazine. My first interview since Ronnie’s untimely death happened to come by way of a chance conversation Legendary Metal Queen Doro Pesch who was privileged to have worked closely with Ronnie and become quite close with the man over the years. Needless to say it was a difficult interview and we both found it hard to talk about anything other than our memories of Ronnie and the huge amount of love and respect we had for the man.
