Female fronted Gothic Metal outfit Sirenia, who hold in their ranks former Tristania guitarist extraordinaire Morten Veland are on the verge of introducing another creative masterpiece to the world with their latest outpouring The Enigma Of Life. As the modern day scheme of Metal continues to thrive and evolve it also manages to perpetuate more and more challenges. Nevertheless, Sirenia remain at the frontlines of the movement, always prepared to take their fans on a journey of truly epic proportions. I recently took the opportunity to speak one on one with Mr. Veland about the the mysteries of life, the distiction Sirenia brings to the table in a genre that is quickly becoming overrun with similar styling's and his view on the future of the genre as well as the ever more poignant fluidity of their current musical progression which signals the second installment of the bands muse and current vocalist Ailyn.
