Clint spent much of 2007 as the touring guitarist for Korn. He has also just completed work on the second album from Dark New Day, the band which also features in its ranks Troy McLawhorn (guitar; Evanescence, ex-Double Drive), Clint's brother Corey Lowery (bass; ex-Stereomud, Stuck Mojo) Brett Hestla (vocals; ex-Creed, Virgos Merlot) and Will Hunt (drums; Evanescence, ex-Skrape, Tommy Lee).

Sevendust has announced the details of its spring tour, which kicked off on April 9 in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Saliva, Neverset, and Overscene will be on the tour for the first leg, which runs through May 3 in South Bend, Indiana. Black Stone Cherry will join the trek May 4-17.

Sevendust recently pulled out of its participation in this summer's inaugural Rockstar Energy Mayhem Tour, indicating in a statement that it canceled its involvement "due to changes in (the group's) touring schedule." The Rockstar Energy Mayhem Tour, featuring headliners Disturbed and Slipknot, is scheduled to kick off on July 9 in Seattle and will hit 30 North American cities.

Sevendust will release its new album, "Chapter VII: Hope & Sorrow", on April 1. The first single is called "Prodigal Son", while the disc features guest appearances from Chris Daughtry and members of Alter Bridge.
